Fédia Louis was born and raised in Haiti. She has always been in love with Haitian Kreyòl and has always understood the importance of maintaining the Haitian culture. Fédia continues to play a role within the NYC Haitian community by serving as a board member of Flanbwayan Haitian Literary Project.

She is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and works in the field of Mental & Behavioral Health. She received her Bachelor’s in Sociology from Binghamton University and obtained her Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University. She always looks forward to teaching Haitian Creole and sharing Haitian culture with Kreyòl Institute students.
